All candidates who
meet the following conditions qualify for admission to a program leading
to a Diploma of College Studies:
A
candidate who obtained an SSD without one of the following courses,
must communicate with their School Board in order to follow remedial
courses for the missing courses:
- Secondary IV credits of history
- Secondary IV credits in physical sciences
- Secondary V credits in English language arts
- Secondary V credits in French second language
- Secondary IV credits in mathematics
or
- Secondary V credits in English language arts
- Secondary V credits in French second language
- Secondary IV credits in mathematics
Plus
- mathematics 426, 436 or 514
All candidates must meet with an admission
counsellor. If an interview is not possible, the candidate must submit a
letter of reference with her/his application.
To apply,
candidates must forward the following items to the admissions office:
- Admission form
- High school leaving diploma or
equivalent
- High school transcript issued by
the Ministry of Education
- Last post high school transcript if
applicable
- Certified birth certificate
- Photograph (passport size)
- Application fee (please refer to
the tuition fees schedule)

The AEC
(Attestation of Collegial Studies) programs available at O'Sullivan
College are open to all students who meet the following conditions:
- have a recognized Secondary School
Diploma or a diploma of vocational studies or have training judged
equivalent by the College
- have interrupted your studies for
one year or have completed one year of post-secondary studies
- meet the special conditions of the
program
All candidates must meet with an admission

O'Sullivan College operates on a first-come, first served basis.
Applications are processed throughout the year. Applicants who are in the
final year of high school receive a conditional acceptance pending
receipt of their high school leaving diploma. An applicant will usually
be notified of the Admissions Committee's decision within three (3) weeks
of his/her application during the registration period.

Tuition Fees
|

A non-refundable application fee must accompany all applications. (Please
refer to the tuition fees schedule)
Registration Fee
Within ten (10) days after notification of acceptance, all candidates are
required to send their registration fee, which is non-refundable. When
two (2) or more members of the same family concurrently attend O'Sullivan
College on a full-time basis, the College offers a 10% reduction on
tuition fees to each student.
Financial Aid
Quebec
residents attending O'Sullivan College are eligible for Quebec Government
student loans and bursaries.
Students from other provinces attending O'Sullivan College may apply to
their respective province for Canada student loans. These
loans and bursaries are intended for students who pursue full-time or
part-time studies. Assistance is granted in the form of a loan guaranteed
by the Quebec Government, on which no interest is payable as long as the
student has not completed his/her studies. If the loan does not cover all
eligible expenses, students are eligible to receive a bursary as well.

Scholarships for Excellence |

O’Sullivan College offers academic scholarships for $500 each to
students who are completing their last year of secondary studies and are
admitted for the first time to a full-time Diploma of Collegial Studies
(DEC) program.
The
scholarships are awarded based on high school academic achievement.
There are no forms to be filled out; students who submit a request for
admission to a full-time DEC program before March 1st are automatically
eligible.
Also
a scholarship is offered by Fairfax Financial Holdings to a high school
graduate who is admitted for the first time to a full-time Diploma of
Collegial Studies program.
The
scholarship is awarded based on high school academic records and
financial need of the student. The selected student is eligible for this
scholarship for the duration of his studies at the college if all
requirements are met.
These
scholarships are given in two (2) instalments: the first half in the
Fall semester and the second half in the Winter semester, if all
requirements are met. These scholarships are applied towards tuition
fees.

Five (5) $300 scholarships are awarded annually. Candidates must submit an
essay describing their reasons for seeking a business career and their
long-term goals. These scholarships are applied towards the tuition fees
for the following academic semester. Applications must be submitted by
May 1st of each year.
Refunds
Tuition fees are refundable in accordance with the policy approved by the
Ministry of Education. Application and registration fees are not
refundable. Students who wish to cancel their registration must send us a
registered letter within ten (10) days of the signature of the contract,
provided that classes have not yet begun. If a student withdraws after
ten (10) days of the signature of the contract, but before classes begin,
he/she must pay a penalty equal to one-tenth of the total amount agreed
upon. Any student who withdraws from a course or program during the
semester must pay an amount in proportion to the classes received, in
addition to a penalty equal to one-tenth of the amount of the total
amount agreed for the course or program. Full-time students should be
aware that changing their courseload will not result in a reduction in
tuition fees. Before dropping a course, full-time students must consult
with the Registrar.
