Exclusive program for International Students

This 4-semester (1155 hours) program leads to an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) and includes a 3-week internship.

Students will learn to assume responsibilities in accounting, finance and management, using software applications suitable for small, medium and large companies, as well as in public or parapublic organizations.

The training provided will enable graduates to undertake these functions and be able to confront the technological changes and new developments in today's workplace.

The student's versatility will be further enhanced by acquiring skills that will be transferable to related specializations.

After completing the program, students will be able to access with confidence a range of positions in accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, payroll) or in management, either in a manual or a computerized environment.

We teach the following software: Outlook, Word, Excel, Sage 50 (Simply Accounting), Acomba, QuickBooks and a taxation software.

Program objectives:

With the accounting courses, students will be able to perform the main tasks associated with the position of accounting clerk or technician. They will learn to take on accounting, finance and management tasks using computer software including: bookkeeping, data entry, accounts receivable and accounts payable management, and payroll production. Students will develop skills to keep up with technological change and new trends on the job market. All of these assets, combined with a professional ethic, will greatly benefit graduates in their future careers.
